NHTSA Launches New Child Safety Website

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently launched a new 'child safety' oriented website covering a wide range of safety related topics to help parents keep children safe in and around cars.  The name of the new NHTSA website is called Parents Central.  Each week beginning in May, we will highlight one section of this tremendous new safety resource.

This week, we will bring your highlights and features from the Car Seat safety section.  Per the NHTSA Parent Central website, "in the United States, car crashes are the number one killer of children 1 to 12 years old.  The best way to protect them in the car is to put them in the right seat, at the right time, and use it the right way."

Review how to make a better-informed choice when selecting and using a car seat.
